Digital Signage
Digital signage and scheduled digital media delivery is an ever expanding audio-visual sector with a bewildering range of hardware, software and mixed products available at every price point. Let us guide you through the process of choosing a system that will work for you, and deliver your message.
We have delivered a variety of digital signage products across the UK, and work carefully with our clients to create a system that is suitable for their requirements and budget. We can offer a consultation and sales service only, or we can install and provide ongoing support and signage updates as required. Digital signage can be remotely managed and updated using the internet, lan’s, wans, vlan, 3g or 4g mobile networks, and scheduled programme updates are possible on most systems.
Focus on the message, remember to prioritise the key points.
Digital signage and media servers can be attached to a variety of display hardware as the site requires. Past projects we have completed have included single flat screen displays, multiple separate flat panels displays, gridded video wall arrays, panoramic video wall arrays, and projection options. It is possible to synchronise digital signage playback on multiple devices, or on occasion it can be preferable to have a powerful machine playback a high resolution file that is then cut up for display on multiple screens. This tends to be determined by any existing content.
Digital signage can be collaborative, or under the control of a single admin, depending upon the system. Some ranges are updated by writing media to SD cards, more advanced systems offer remote publishing, either directly or via FTP, and this can be much easier to co-ordinate multiple updates.
Hardware such as the Panasonic Space Player is designed for ease of installation in retail environments and it can be fitted quickly to pre-existing lighting tracks. Once mains power is available, all further updating can be via wifi or a handheld remote. Units such as there offer lamp-free projection which reduces the overall cost of operation when considered across the lifetime of the project.
We generally have a range units available that we can use to demonstrate concepts in digital signage. The aim is always to create a reliable and easy to use system. It often makes sense to re-use existing data if this can be done, for example if a corporate website is regularly updated, this data cab often be re-purposed for digital signage, which is fantastic time saver. Feel free to ask us any digital signage questions you may have.
